es[k]imos on fire
Up in the northern regions a plague is growing and growing
In the area of the yellow man ice is turning to water
They cannot stand this heat anymore ‘cause it’s burning so bad
They get killed by nature, maybe by us, maybe by us
Down in the dark streams where they rest
With frozen eyes and burnt to death
No longer they will enjoy life
No longer they will be alive
In the land of the twinkle eyes
Between the ice and eternal night
At the pole, at the edge of the world
Where it all seemed so right
A mighty light in the south arose
A fire in the sky
Without a warning the blood of the sun
Poured over it’s unending white
Don’t burn me
Don’t heat me up
Don’t kill me
When the sunlight melts away
All these happy, frozen days
When the heat turns white to red
When the daylight suffocates
Snow in all it's different shapes
When the landscapes fade away
The natives are the chosen ones
Mothers, sisters, brothers, sons
On their backs the air gets tough
And their skins are getting rough
From the heat of the sky
It’s raining blood ‘cause we deny
The warnings - we have to retrench
It’s natures fist and here revenge
Don’t burn me
Don’t heat me up
Don’t kill me
When the sunlight melts away
All these happy, frozen days
When the heat turns white to red
When the daylight suffocates
Snow in all it's different shapes
When the landscapes fade away
ESKIMO BRENNT
BURRRNNN
mother earth what have we done
please forgive us
mother earth what have we done
please don’t tan your native son
When the sunlight melts away
All these happy, frozen days
When the heat turns white to red
When the daylight suffocates
Snow in all it different shapes
When the landscapes fade away |
